GGpoker decided to hold a new major series immediately after the end of the WSOP, on September 12th. The name of the event is Super Million $ Week. There will be 35 events in total with buy-ins ranging from $ 525 to $ 10300, and the total guarantee will be as much as $ 15M! Moreover, there will also be 4 events which the winners will receive the WSOP Circuit Signet Rings in. We will talk about everything in more detail below.

Brand hybrid

The WSOP Online series has not yet finished, but the room has already announced a new tournament week, which will combine both the world series and the new brand:

From September 12 to September 19, GGpoker will host the Super Millions $ Week High Roller Series with a prize pool of $ 15M, for 35 events, as well as a drawing of 4 WSOP Circuit rings.

Similar prizes have been met in the room before, but they were played in the spring series, and 18 winners immediately received championship rings. Now the “junior” format of the World Series of Poker has been combined with a high roller festival that will last a whole week. Despite all the peculiarities, the prize pool of the series has been reduced by about 23%, in comparison with the expensive summer series. Most likely, this is due to the room’s concerns about overlays, since not all players are ready to play tightly after a whole month of WSOP.

Main event and satellites

The main event will stretch over several days. The first four starting days will take place from 12 to 19 September. Each time players enter, they receive a 200 BB stack, and the blinds will rise 20 minutes. At the same time, during the starting day, you can do unlimited re-entries during late registration, that is, another 5 hours and 40 minutes after the start of the tournament.

Day 2 Super Millon$ Main Event $10M GTD starts at 11:00 PM MSK time on September 19.

The final table of the event will be streamed on GGpokerTV the next day.

You can qualify for one of the largest tournaments through step satellites, buy-ins for which start at $ 10:

• Every day, starting from September 9, there are 3 qualifying tournaments for $ 1050 and minimum prizes of 2-3 entries to the main event;
• In the $ 108 Step to SMW tournament, 2 tickets for the final satellite are played out;
• In each $ 10 Step to SMW, 2 $ 108 tickets are played out.

A similar grid of satellites is provided for each Super Million $ Week event. The cheapest qualifiers for $ 2.5 go to the $ 525 tournaments. It is quite possible that thanks to them, not only world-famous professional players will meet at the final tables, but also amateurs who have been selected through step satellites.

A major update was released on the WPN network of rooms on August 25, 2021, which the maximum attention was paid to tournament players in. Multi-table SNGs have appeared in the lobby, and the second Venom PKO $ 5M GTD event schedule has been added.

Good old format

The popularity of Sit-and-Go tournaments regularly declines, but WPN doesn’t think so. If you could play in a similar format mainly on PokerStars, as well as on GGpokerok, now SNGs have become available on the WPN network, moreover, in the format of multi-table tournaments:

Winning Network (WPN) has announced the launch of 27- and 180-handed tournaments.

The first tournaments are already available in the lobby, and competitions for 180 people are promised to be added soon. The features of the 27-max are as follows:

• $5,5 buy-in;
• Two speeds: turbo with 5 minute blinds and regular tournaments with 10 minute blinds;
• Ante starts right from the first level, and the starting stack is 75 BB.

Similar tournaments were online before. They were called On Demand and were held for 6-10 players, and there was still late registration during the first 10 levels, and during this time the number of participants could grow to 100. There were 6 limits in total: from $ 0.5 to $ 20 – both for Hold’em and for Omaha.

Venom PKO $5M GTD

Also in the update, a major tournament, The Venom PKO $ 5M GTD, was announced. This time it was announced 3 weeks before the start:

Between September 17-29, 2021, PokerKing, Americas Cardroom and Black Ship Poker will host The Venom PKO $ 5M GTD with a buy-in of $ 2650.

Other updates

In addition to the appearance of additional avatars in the settings, WPN players can also count on additional new items. There is an assumption that if SNG tournaments appear in the coming days, then the update for cash games will be released on September 30th.

Blitz poker tables will support a non-full table game. To do this, you must check the box in the settings menu.

Such a solution will increase the volume of the game at those limits where there is not enough online. Moreover, now you don’t have to wait long to collect a new table, that is, to complete the hands on the previous tables.

Conclusion

The decision to introduce SNG tournaments, and even multi-table tournaments, is controversial. How it will be perceived by the players – time will tell. On the one hand, the network will no longer be able to compete with PokerStars, since the volume of the game and the limits themselves are very different.

On the other hand, the network is becoming practically the only place where Americans can play with poker players from the CIS countries.

Also in the rooms of the network there are excellent conditions for the game, which include a loyalty program and high rakeback. This makes WPN as attractive as possible for players of all stakes.

In the first month of the fall, there will be many series, races and promotions that attract a huge number of players.

PartyPoker updates

PartyPoker has a Boosted Hours promotion from August 30 to October 17. It allows players to earn extra rake points while playing at Fastforward tables. The increased charge is available at the following hours:

Features of the competition

The most notable feature of the stock is the range of limits. That is, you will receive points only when playing at the tables of all limits, except for the two lowest and two highest. Online at the tables is also different: most of the games to participate in the Low Leaderboard can be found at the NL25 € tables, where up to 30 tables gather in the evenings.

If you want to hit the rake as quickly as possible, it is recommended to play local fast poker (Football Stars). There is a single limit of NL20 €.

The high range leaderboard is likely to be occupied by players at the 0.5 / 1 limit. The fact is that the most traffic is collected at these tables, while there may not be a proper amount of play on the high-stack.

The number of prizes is large enough for such a small room. At the same time, the payout for the first place for the Low table is equal to 12BI of the highest limit, and in other tables – only 2.5BI.

10 000 Dogecoins play out

On the final day of the promotion, 20 prizes for a total of 10,000 Dogecoins will be played out among all players who have made at least one cryptocurrency deposit. At the time of this writing, that’s about $ 2700.
