GGpoker decided to hold a new major series immediately after the end of the WSOP, on September 12th. The name of the event is Super Million $ Week. There will be 35 events in total with buy-ins ranging from $ 525 to $ 10300, and the total guarantee will be as much as $ 15M! Moreover, there will also be 4 events which the winners will receive the WSOP Circuit Signet Rings in. We will talk about everything in more detail below.
Brand hybrid
The WSOP Online series has not yet finished, but the room has already announced a new tournament week, which will combine both the world series and the new brand:
From September 12 to September 19, GGpoker will host the Super Millions $ Week High Roller Series with a prize pool of $ 15M, for 35 events, as well as a drawing of 4 WSOP Circuit rings.
Similar prizes have been met in the room before, but they were played in the spring series, and 18 winners immediately received championship rings. Now the “junior” format of the World Series of Poker has been combined with a high roller festival that will last a whole week. High Rollers Week $ 15M GTD was the last time a holiday for fans of high stakes games was held 3 months ago.
Let’s list the features of the series:
- Four WSOP Circuit events: KICKOFF Bounty Hunters HR $ 2.5M GTD for $ 525, Omaholic Bounty $ 1M GTD for $ 2300, GGMasters HR $ 1050, $ 1.5M, and $ 5M Guaranteed Main Event with $ 10300 buy-in;
- There will be a 6+ Hold’em tournament: everyone who has at least $ 5250 on their balance to enter will compete for a prize pool of $ 100K;
- The number of Omaha tournaments has been increased to 4, and their total prize pool has been increased to $ 1.3M;
- You can qualify for any of the events through step satellites, and the buy-in to qualifiers starts at $ 5.5.
Despite all the peculiarities, the prize pool of the series has been reduced by about 23%, in comparison with the expensive summer series. Most likely, this is due to the room’s concerns about overlays, since not all players are ready to play tightly after a whole month of WSOP.

Main event and satellites
The main event will stretch over several days. The first four starting days will take place from 12 to 19 September. Each time players enter, they receive a 200 BB stack, and the blinds will rise 20 minutes. At the same time, during the starting day, you can do unlimited re-entries during late registration, that is, another 5 hours and 40 minutes after the start of the tournament.
Day 2 Super Millon$ Main Event $10M GTD starts at 11:00 PM MSK time on September 19.
The final table of the event will be streamed on GGpokerTV the next day.
You can qualify for one of the largest tournaments through step satellites, buy-ins for which start at $ 10:
- Every day, starting from September 9, there are 3 qualifying tournaments for $ 1050 and minimum prizes of 2-3 entries to the main event;
- In the $ 108 Step to SMW tournament, 2 tickets for the final satellite are played out;
- In each $ 10 Step to SMW, 2 $ 108 tickets are played out.
A similar grid of satellites is provided for each Super Million $ Week event. The cheapest qualifiers for $ 2.5 go to the $ 525 tournaments. It is quite possible that thanks to them, not only world-famous professional players will meet at the final tables, but also amateurs who have been selected through step satellites.
