RedStar Poker’s history
RedStar Poker started in 2005 as part of the Cake network. It was with this network that it reached its maximum traffic of around 13,000 connections. Initially, this room focused on players from Russia.
In 2013, the room moved to the large Microgaming Poker Network along with other well-known rooms – Betsson, RedBet, Betsafe. In 2020, RedStar Poker changed the network again to iPoker, in which the room is still a member.

Cash games
Traditionally, in RedStar Poker, the most popular discipline among cash players is No Limit Hold’em. It accounts for over 90%. The action takes place exclusively at the 6-max tables. The second format is Age of the Gods. In these Spins you can win not only the main prize pool, but also the jackpot. The buy-ins are €1, €5 and €10. The structure is faster compared to the regular Twister. Essentially, you have to play a push-fold.
Game level at RedStar Poker
In terms of the softness of the field, RedStar can be called an average room. Regulars are discouraged by the inability to select tables and therefore take a seat next to the chips. Bump-hunters are also absent. However, weak players are not a very common phenomenon here either.

RedStar Poker has two levels: Red and Star. The first is available to all, and it allows you to get 20% rakeback. Once a player reaches 5,000 status points, they will be automatically awarded Star status. With Star status, you will receive 35% rakeback. You must rake 5000 SP every month to stay in Star status.
Rake
The rake in all iPoker Skins is the same and amounts to 5%. The rake that can be withdrawn is limited to €4. At micro-limits, there is a higher commission of 6.67%. Rake is only taken on deals that reach the flop.
RedStar Poker stands out from the other skins on the network. While all the rooms calculate rake using the Source Based Race system, RedStar does not use this system. This system takes into account the source of the player’s money. That is why rake is counted more for the depositors than for the regulars who play on the won funds. Only in the only roulette in the iPoker network, RedStar Poker, there is a regular rake calculation scheme.
